On August 29, 2024, the Palas Garden in Iași came alive with the powerful sounds of drums during the third edition of Toboșariada. This one-of-a-kind event in Romania brought together young, talented, and passionate percussionists, offering the audience a truly memorable auditory and visual experience.

Inspired by similar performances held in Europe and the United States, Toboșariada created a sense of unity and synchronization, as the drums beat in unison, transforming the audience into a single community. Without the need for social media, connections were made directly, through the music and the vibrations of the drums.

Most of the participants were young percussionists, who, despite only having studied the instrument for a short time, displayed remarkable talent. For them, Toboșariada was a valuable opportunity to showcase their work and passion.

The event also featured a short workshop led by the famous Italian drummer, Sergio Ponti. He shared his experiences as a drummer with the young participants and discussed the challenges he has faced throughout his career. Later, he joined the young percussionists for a warm-up session before the big concert.
